that sucks bud hope everything else is ok, and wishing you luck on having great replacements i the incubator, maybe more than a pair.im dreading the killers lready and mine arent even all out there yet. my cheap ones are out there but the coop they are in is awesome. i just added some mesh screen over it. luckily my chickens were inside when my mothe in laws smallest dog got out. killed 2 of her brahma bantams and took all of one of her roosters tail feathers tf out. that dog almost got killed by my 2 brother in laws. get to give her my extras, especially if she wants one specifically. got to love mother in laws. lol

Lol yeah they are smart. The problem is I'm fairly dumb. Killing the raccoons won't bring the chickens back but it will make me feel a little better. Haha
I figure they were just hangin out with em and then things got outta hand. It's all fun and games till somebody gets hurt.
I'm just gonna relocate them to somewhere where they won't be a bother to anybody.

And by the way they aren't all that smart actually. Many times they will just eat the head off a bird even when they are capable of eating the entire bird. That doesn't sound all that intelligent to me buddy.
That's like buying a cheesesteak and taking one bite and pitching the rest lol

Well if you can communicate with raccoons in some weird hippy way can you let them know it would be in their best interest to relocate to the next county.

This is actually a really good time to hunt them. They have young and I have a predator call that mimics the sound of a hurt raccoon pup. Very effective. I know you just love that shubin.

They couldn't eat them they fell back into the middle of the pens minus their heads.
