I drove past it on the way back from my backpacking trip.. Saw it at night looking down on it... which was a pretty amazing sight. It is about 40 miles from my house. No ash but some smoke and really cool sunsets.

40 miles is close especially if you uphill

The heat index has been around 100 - 105 here for the past week. Not sure when I moved down south with all this sh*tty weather.
