These two have been going at it the past few days. They better straighten up cause I ain't penning them for a long while. Too hot out for all that mess.

The other day I wormed, deloused and changed all the leg bands on over 100 birds. Started at 9:30 pm til 3:30 am. 6 hrs of jamming pills down their throats and powder puffing them. Much easier at night by headlamp.

Got that right, every day till 8:30 to 9:00 mostly because I get home from work around 6-6:30. There's a lot of people that don't have a clue of the time we spend with our gamefowl.

I go in around 3-4 am. Home early afternoon. I give all penned birds fresh water first thing then I go back out when it cools down to feed them all. Usually out there til about 9 this time of year.
Sure makes for some long days when u factor in all the weed eating and grass cutting. Can't wait for winter!
