What a difference a day makes.  Been raining since last night and is actually pleasant to go outside for a change.  Birds sure are enjoying the change.

Shes medium station. Just really hot. They are all hating life these past few days.

Looks like the rain in the southern part of the state has finally stopped, now I'm getting all the rain, hopefully the flooding has stopped.

There's always a few little ones that don't make it because of the rain and wet ground. I do as much as I can to keep them in a dry area. So much rain fell to day that all the pens were filling up with water. I had to go to each pen with small pieces of 2x4 to put under one corner so the water would continue to run off. Dry food is my biggest concern

about 10000 people in shelters, still flooded, I know of 3 sections of interstate still closed due to water over roadway. I ended up getting a little flooding from a band of rain yesterday nothing major. Helped a friend move some pens he's right on a bayou neither of us lost any.

I'm on the end of a hill, so my major issues are with the incredible amounts of run off. I'll lose a few little ones, dry feed is my biggest concern. I have a couple friends down your way sdm that are going to check on theirs today, one said he'll swim if he has to. All of his young ones were on the roof of his garage and in the tee pee yard they're all still on their roost.
