Just start thinking. I will bring this up in about 5 years again. It is not about fear. Noah simply got prepared.
I agree with you Centra... I think the world is going through a major climate shift (most likely accelerated by humans contributions). I don't know if it will be all bad, as the world has been warmer in history. Its just that as the ice sheets melt, sea levels rise and climate zones change. Probably be a wetter/warmer world but during this transition we will see some major natural disasters. Some people and animals will be displaced.

I am not worried about human survival as much as I am the animals. Humans are great at adapting but some species will die off due to rapid shift in environment combined with human indifference/pressures.

Think about being 18" above sea-level. Climate change primary concerns for us where I am trying grow better shade for penned birds. People in coastal areas have much bigger problem that will bot be seasonal.

Actually most of the coastal areas are below sea level that's why all the levees. And pumping stations. I got a survey done a couple yrs ago I'll dig it out for a hard number

I have been down you way and snorkeled the lake chasing fish for research. Some locations are loosing freshwater fish where saline water is intruding into surface and ground water. Over time the levee system will not protect against that, especially when levees periodically topped by seawater during storm events.
