Ain't a fish that swims that can't be caught on a fly rod of the appropriate size. Sob took my fly too deep too had to cut the line.

lol, don't recall ever seeing a catfish on a fly.

Sdm111 you need to break out that fly rod. This pond I fished tonight gets hammered by fishermen all the time. They ain't used to seeing flies and streamers. They are used to the usual spinnerbaits, crankbaits etc.. from a spinning gear.

I took a bunch of things for granted back in the day. I went to stay with my sister in ky for a couple yrs and let me tell ya I really missed it all when I couldn't go and do. Since I moved back I used to live to work now I work to live there's so much out there but we all get caught up in the fast lane and we gotta stop now and then and enjoy instead of always go, go, go. At least that's how I feel

Yeah expect now it's bow and muzzle loader season maybe I'll just fish until rifle season.
