Yea that is a giant looking fresh water shrimp I would guess...

Giant Freshwater Prawn Macrobrachium rosenbergii. Pond raised yet tasty. I work with these guys and insects to say not water bugs. My preferred method of preparation is grilled with shells on lathered in butter, crushed garlic and a bit of Creole seasoning. Smaller ones I eat the shell as well on.

The late season stags never get the same attention the older ones get... I spend a lot time deciding which to keep and then I forget I have like 6 more stags that are coming up in age... that also need to be considered

No modern in him.. just been selecting long leg birds for breeding for several years...

I've only added modern to my Whites, a line that started as tiny little white Spanish hens... I added bunch of hatch blood and a touch of Modern .
