Basically I believe I don't mess with u u don't mess with me and I keep what I earn and u too. If u want to pursue more out of like great for u, BUT if u sit on your butt then live it and don't expect me to pay your way.

Shubin the fear is founded. In CA and NJ the taxes are so high it's ridiculous. The gun laws are outta control.
To me this election shows that people don't want to be told who or what to think and vote for. The media, Hollywood and musicians have overestimated their ability to persuade the American people to see things their way.
I obviously can't speak for anyone but myself but all I want is to be left alone. I want to be able to hunt, fish, trap and raise chickens. I want my private property rights respected by all. I would like taxes brought down to a realistic level and the size of government from the top down shrunken to the smallest size while still being able to perform necessary functions. That means getting rid of many useless agencies and departments.
In a nutshell lthe ability to truly be free and the ability keep the majority of what you earn would be a nice place to start.

The ammo/gun thing was/is worrisome I would admit. Just from historical standpoint of gov disarming people.
Taxes have been around since currency was invented and someone will always complain regardless of relative amount taxed.
We need government. That is without a doubt... its size/power should always be questioned. Whether too big or not big enough..
Half the country believes our gov is too big, corrupt and powerful and I weigh that heavily. But then again the other half of country says that the elite/banks/corporations are too big, corrupt and powerful... And that our government should step in and help/protect the people.
Anyone who is mooching or living life as a couch potato on someone else's dime better have a good reason. I dont support lazy people (thats why my wife's brother doesnt live at my house anymore).

Shubin I Your views about the government is skewed. I like many don't need it. Why do you think the government is here to save you, help you, etc.. it would be best for the government to stay the h*ll out of people's lives. Everything they touch turns to sh*t. I don't need lead by the hand, maybe some do.
I've seen first hand twice this year how gov messes up what the common folk were handling by themselves by coming together and getting stuff done.
There's such a chain of command that by the time what the top says gets to the street the event is over.

Some people are so gullible it's enraging. Why do folks think the big time politicians give a rats *ss about you. They don't, they are most interested in continuing to live the good life, funded by the taxpayer.
My views of police are different than many I suppose. I hate to continue to repeat the same things over and over but they really don't do much at all except write tickets to fund they're existence, fill out reports and spend tons of taxpayer money constantly dealing with the same sh*tbags over and over. Over time they have developed the same elitist attitude that has gotten the government where it's at. The problem being stakes are a little higher for them and people fight back. Illegal search and seizures, militarization etc. nothing more than glorified Boy Scouts that were designed to help little old ladies cross the street not set up speed traps to rake in the dough from the very people they are supposed to be protecting and serving.
