I have really bad winds also.... Just about every coop I have has been rolled, and I have new roof on my house because wind tore off my old one 2 years ago.

All my coops are now tethered or have the bottom buried.

I think this one is fine because its all nettings, which lets the wind pass through...

Good god I'll never learn! Fence got me again today. Buckled me over. Hurt real good. Changing roofs on a few pens and I backed up into the wire with my hand on the pen, with fencing pliers. I swear every time this happens I get more gray hairs. D*mn headache too.

I made my pen area smaller today prolly cut 60' off. Lost a Millie fleur deuccle bearded bantam rooster to a hawk. I'll be target practicing in the morning and if it flies in front of me oh well

Purple hands for 3 days. 

Clorox scrubber foaming spray and baby wipes. Works real nice

no hawks here just coons, foxes, and possums plus the odd cat..we try to rehome them all

I few yrs ago I got slaughtered by foxes that's why I originally put the elec fence up
