the only thing that could make it any better is fog and a drizzle, keep them low
Just loaded up the truck and as I'm strapping down the canoe and decoys flock after flock of geese are flying overhead. We shall see.
I've never done well in fog, rain yes but not in the fog.

One morning it was real foggy and they were flying just above the marshgrass coming straight in, in front of my friend by the time he jumped up and pulled the trigger a grey duck musta been about 8' in front of him and splattered him all over his blind and himself, true story it had a band he sent it in and he got a certificate in the mail said it was released in Montana. Anyway good luck. What load u using?

The pullets are well muscled but dainty weighing little more than 4 lbs. Breast is not as full / broad as mine.

Regardless to what I breed her to on my yard, she will throw fifty percent toppy and fifty percent not as mine do not carry the toppy allele.

The white part I am not confident in as I thought she would be solid white rather than having the black tail like a wheaton has. My guess is 50% of her offspring will be some version of white. Of those that are not white, half will be wheaton. She appears to be hiding something besides the wheaton under that white so may throw other colors too. The color may also be dependent on color of cock bred to. For fun she will be bred to the cock below.

1000
gotcha thanks

I've had a few land on me but not like that! Hevi-metal 3 inch 2's.

Same fella decided to make coffee in his blind with the burners that screw onto the little propane tanks while wearing wool looking coveralls. I looked over and it looked like a blow torch shooting out the marsh in the distance

Ha. I've seen some nutty stuff.
When it's real cold I'll make a heater out of a coffee can, charcoal briquettes and paper towels soaked in lighter fluid. Prepare the night before, put the lid on. Once I get out there fire it up, once it goes out it barely smokes and keeps your hands toasty warm. Just gotta set the can on a patch of wet marsh grass, inside the boat.

You have seen white wheatons that you new they were for sure? What does the cock side look like?
Never saw a male. As a kid, I raised wheaton old english game bantams. Every once and while I would get a sport out of them that was a white wheaton female. That's my only experience with the coloration. I assume it is a partridge coloration so perhaps columbian is technically a "white wheaton"?
