we lived on the military base in Reykjavik/ I don't remember seeing any animals/ or trees/ my mom has Icelandic friends still and they make trips to the states to show dogs/ I have considered asking them to bring some eggs

I use tec trol to rinse the eggs with. Nothing else. And after the hatch and before the hatch the hatcher gets clean with chlorine water.

Thank the Lord I have my own deep-well spring water .

Both of these products can be dangerous to those who are negligent and unlearned . All of us pretty much know to be very careful with a jug of Clorox .

I use bleach when I need to clean water and feed cups(a little Clorox and mostly water let it soak) sometimes in drinking water for fowl (small amounts) .

I'm gonna try the Vikron S and see how it works . I think I saw that Walmarts has it .

I used it in a cheap pump up sprayer. Let a couple tablets dissolve and go. It's not gonna work for a larger area. With the ratio it doesn't go far. I think I figured 7-8 4x5 pens per bottle. I understand also that application amount is subjective. That's why I just use it for special occasions.

I rebedded the domes yest ,at 54degrees now it rained all night and down to 22 ,think ill add more dry bedding ,i wouldnt want wet feet,Man winter sucks.

Same here 58 degrees and raining dropping to 23 tonight. Gonna add straw to everything after it quits. This is the worst weather for em.

None of my penned birds have come down from the roost. Free-range American Dominiques are doing everything they can to stay off snow so far. They are doing nothing to get at feed. Female Coopers Hawk was sunning herself on chick pen in barn until I ran her out.
