Well I upped the protein level, but this started when they where not free ranging for 3 days. So now I am trying to get them out ASAP. The coop is small which is why I have only 2 birds as I think I need to expand to add more, and why I choose smaller LF breed too. The large hen may just like the taste.

You need to really look out how the birds are being kept. If you are keeping them in tight quarters, then one bird per pen. Tight quarters and restricted eats makes for cannibalism. I have never had a bird that preferred to cannibalize flock mates. it is done out of desperation.
