I gave laying hens a new home. That one is easy. Plenty of space and people willing to help... its just a matter of reaching out to them. 

euthanize if they can no longer function or live as they should.  For example ( if an animal cannot eat, drink or live under its own willpower).

Its not going to be black and white. Every animal and condition is unique and should be treated that way.  

Euthanize people who torture animals... 

If your referring to me just let me know I'll go out right now and set a few more snares in your honor.

Hahahahaha. Animal welfare organizations. Haha. You gotta be kidding me! They are all a mess. They euthanize to prevent potential suffering of unborn animals.

Im not advocating animal welfare organizations. But there are animals that do need to be rescued.

From what I hear they dont do the best job of making everyone happy, but I am sure they do some good. I actually got into an argument because they wouldnt let me adopt chickens at first because I had bred chickens in the past 2 years. So I called back and adopted them as my dad instead. I thoguht it was dumb, but I worked around it.

People around for what I see as sh*tty living conditions for they're animals. At the end of the day they are property. Everyone should have some kind of moral code. The reality is many people don't and no amount of hippie groups, legislation or whimpering into your tissue is gonna change it. You helped a few hens out of a battery situation. To h*ll with the rest I guess huh? Don't you feel like you've failed all the rest as you give a great life to only a few. Just something to think about.

I know, I am not advocating.. Just doing what I thought was a good thing to do. Wish I could help more, but I can only care for limited number of animals and any extra might ended up being neglected and needing rescue.

Everyone should have moral code. Some dont at all... and some compensate and go too far with it. Finding the balance and taking care the animals you do have is plenty for good person. If everyone did that, we wouldnt need to rescue. I go a bit further and take care of mine and a few adopted.

I dont agree with them, but I understand why they dont want breeders... they see tons of animals that need homes, and work hard to get them adopted out..., but if people are buying "new" animals then they are less likely to adopt one.

I have rounded up about dozen cats over the past few years and had them spayed or neutered and ear clipped. I have dropped off blankets, food etc to "local" animal shelters. I have a dog that is 15 that came from a shelter in GA when I lived there. Yet somehow I still manage to hunt, fish, trap etc.. doing the right thing or doing something to help animals in need doesn't mean u have to become an animal rights commando or a brainwashed softy hypocrite. Unfortunately most fall into one of those categories.
