One capful to a gallon n spray under wings n by vent. This is what was recommended to me by the old school gamefowl farmer I got a couple of birds from. I also will sprinkle in straw and bird and rub into bird. Seven dust. Prolly not the best for respiratory tho. Never had a mite problem so far.

I mix in apple cider vinegar in their water a few times a week too.

I use frontline spray. Easiest way I've found. I mix malathion or seven concentrate with water and spray pens and roosts every so often. Too many chemicals can't be good for em though

I heard it causes cancer... luckily I drink apple cider vinegar to prevent that.

The problem with California and other states is "high density urban" populations. I think there should be laws against building apartments.
