Shubin you should practice what you preach. Do you buy a federal duck stamp? Money used to buy wetlands and related conservation. Provides you with a pass to access NWR areas.
I dont know about that one... We have adventure passes, which is similar. Need to it park overnight at some trail heads.

was wondering if anyone has tried when making pens using corrugated fiberglass greenhouse panels instead of metal or plywood....to make sure roosters don't see each other.....was it effective? or do you think they would still attack the fiberglass because of the shadow and the sounds....just wondering cause I would like to design coops with these and then place into each pen like a foot by foot patch of fresh greens like wheat and so forth.....box with hardware cloth over the seed about a couple of inches high....just curious

I like the green idea in the coops. Im made failed attempts at it.

I think if they could see eachother at all they would kick the divider. If its opaque enough to only see vague blur shadows then it may be alright... I dont know if the shaded transparent is dark enough for that tho.. I have some pieces I use for mobile shade.

@birdman55

How many birds did you get from bill roberts?

trio of spangled butchers
trio claret
trio pumkin hulsey
trio miner blue
trio radio

all will be sent here in about a month...I designed a whole area for the contractor to build...all 4x8 coops with only pairs or trios. and next season they will only be pairs. you guys have inspired me to go real deep and focus and the birds in which each set produce....that's y I started to build the 4x8s that are separated. also would like to say if you brood your fowl with artificial heat and light...I found a way to calm them from picking...get a timer and set the light to only turn on for 15 minutes every45-60 minutes...worked out great. also no more day time pen work in the manfighters...only nighttime. also has worked out great.
