This found when looking up something on a egg producer reared in the the Israel / Palestine area. If correct then, the Old English Game / bankavoid look is older than the Asian / Aseel look since the latter may not have originated in India / Pakistan as many think. In my way of thinking, the bankavoid type would be the older as has fewer changes from the jungle fowl look.

Neat... Seems they had a Wild type fighting breed, but dont have it anymore.. They mentioned Iranian Lari gamefowl which is Oriental looking and rumpless gamefowl from there as well.

Mentioned Scythia and Russia as possibly ports of moving early game types (I am guessing because the author is Russian, Romanov (same last name as the last Czar), but doesn't mention how this related to the genetic experiment of the domestic breeds they have today. Probably more related to how the rest of the world got games from the Iranians.

From same author...

"novel whole genome sequence information from 21 avian genome sequences (most newly assembled) made available on an interactive browser (Evolution Highway) was analyzed... Of the species analyzed, the chicken lineage appeared to have undergone the fewest changes compared to the dinosaur ancestor."
