Good looking stags texicano.
I've got 17 chicks and a hen just hatched some today. Not sure how many she's got. At least six though. 3 more hens setting on about 6-8 eggs a piece.

Thanks man. I knew you wouldn't p***y out this hatching season lol
I've hatched close to 80 since February. Majority hatched by broodies. I hatched 14 out of the incubator then gave up lol. My radio hens with the Grey are in the lead by far, not surprised as they are the most experienced mommas on the yard. In second place, Hatch, then the younger radio pullets. I've decided to Let all the new pullets free range this year as my dogs have gotten keen to protecting the flock better. I'll see how well they care for the pullets, then I might let the stags run freely as well.

This website setup is garbage by the way.

I like letting young ones free range for long as possible; they get the best food, exercise and healthy behaviors like learning how to scratch in mud for worms, chase flies, sleep on branches, dust bathe and just flying around chasing and play fighting.

Here's a few that hatched yesterday.

Nice. Am I right to assume the chipmunk pattern one is a pullet and the Black ones, are stags?

Nope that doesn't have anything to do with it. The hen this pullet is off of had some hatch in her. Two black birds producing a few chipmunks. Kinda like a throwback.
