Hot and humid here to but I know you got me beat on the humidity. I was soaking wet after feeding a few minutes ago.

Toll tag = no big deal

I have some flies all the others my wife stole the first was the bee. I guess those will be gone too lol

This next batch will be good ones. I had most of those already tied up from before. Granted they work but ain't all that fancy. These will be fancy and work good. All saltwater hooks. Ya. Never know when u may hook into that grouper with a discerning eye for detail.

That's blue (Andalusian blue) not lavender (self blue)... and it is not in all lavender, just some lines... has to do with the slow feathering gene, K...

Definitely could be poor genetics... another cause could be lack of proper preening or a malfunctioning oil gland... if the feathers are not oiled regularly, they will dry out and become brittle, easily frayed... ask havoc about feathers improperly kept for long periods of times... or flies used over and over...

Chickens aren't as good as ducks. I help them and rub their feathers with baby oil Vaseline on their legs and face. Just don't buy it all at once or you may get some funny looks.

Ha. I found that out awhile back. You have to be careful when searching for fox tails. One click too many and I found all kinds of interesting stuff.
