Red light cameras! Now that is a money making scheme and doesn't make anything safer. All they need to do is extend the yellow light by a second or two and wala less accidents. What happened here though is they shortened the yellow light and we're nailing people left and right. Somebody figured it out and sued the state and the company behind it. All cameras had to come down. It's the small victories.

What did you decide - put your birds on wire or not?

I guess they need the extra money for the patrol escalades, explorers and mustangs.

What about Helicopter, Swat and Armored vehicles, mobile command, 4wheelers, etc., etc. My county is only around 100,000 people, but we have all this stuff and more.
Makes you grit your teeth at times wondering if they could put those funds to better use.

I don't know yet. What will actually probably happen is I'll send all my birds to different yards and just breed in the spring. That's pretty much what I do anyway. I don't keep many outside of breeding season I might have 25 now

Not to mention if you have a lot of cash, they confiscate it. It's practically illegal in a lot of places to have cash. They claim it's crime related if you have cash.

The next town over, this guy with diabetes and other health issues called 911 for an ambulance because he was having chest pains. The police responded first, busted in the front door and shot him dead. That was a few years back. When I was younger in that same town a guy claimed a police officer tried to get this guy to put his German Shepard puppy in the police dog program and he refused. A cop shot him dog dead in his fenced in yard a few days later. I believe it. Some police departments just can't be saved. The whole departments are corrupt and full of criminals.

Those pics look like hunting season. I could use some cooler weather. It's 94 here today with the humidity it feels over 100 so it ain't much better up here.
