At what age to chickens establish a pecking order?so far all mine seem to be on the same level.

I am at a computer nearly 40 hours a week. So I dont even bother to turn on my computer at home unless I have to... I work outside when I go home and only go inside to sleep.

My computer is shop/engineering computer and only used for engineering software and programming. No internet, just connected to my machines.

When they start feathering out of their baby feathers usually.

depends on environment too... penned chicks establish early I think (or at least its more noticeable)... When I free range they more likely to run around with friends looking for food, instead of picking on each other.

I had to look up fedoras... that'll look good on me when I start my sugar cane plantation... trying a aquaponic sugar cane system...

depends on environment too... penned chicks establish early I think (or at least its more noticeable)... When I free range they more likely to run around with friends looking for food, instead of picking on each other.

They are penned but they have a big coop and a good size run.I can't free range too many predators.they seem pretty friendly though.I hope they stay this way they are around 9 weeks old.

I grew some just as hobby, stored calories in case of apocalypse. Then I started selling cuttings for people to grow their own...

Now I got opportunity to supply raw sugar cane sticks to a "sugar cane bar" at a hip place nearer the beach.
