So I've been feeding an "All Flock" feed around 20% protein. Will this be ok for Games or should I look for something else for them?

Is it mostly the amount of Fat you guys look for? Less to maintain and more when working the birds?
That would be fine.

Since you live up here near me the only thing I do is add in southern states 5 grain scratch. Used to be called rooster booster. Especially in the winter. I give them more whole corn in winter and when it's really cold (-0 to +10 I'll feed them double with more scratch right before bed.

I don't feed any birds cracked corn. Bagged whole corn itself is limited in nutrients since it's been off the cob so long but cracked corn is a waste of money imo

I feed a layer pellet year round too, except to the young ones. It is a balanced ration. The rest is just for treats.

Ok, thanks for the info. The 5 grain scratch is some nice looking stuff. I've purchased a bag or two over the years.

I've got plenty of corn and sunflower to feed them as well.

So the lumber mill messed up my lumber order. Went to pick it up this afternoon and they had a bunch of pine 2x4's laying there. I ordered oak 2x4's and 2x6's and 1x6's.

I think my order got mixed into another large order they had and thought the pine was mine.

Oh well. Lowes is up the road. Should have the new pens built soon. I should of just gone to lowes in the first place, but have never had an issue with the mill before.

May I ask why oak? Real question all's we got around here is pressure treated pine. The oak and stuff is usually high dollar specialty or cabinet wood
