Got any good recipes? Last time I made mole with two hens and they tatsted good but the meat was tougher than Shubin hugging a tree. Lol
If you saw the state of Southern California trees, you'd be hugging them too.
One the oldest tree in the world is less than 10 miles from me.. on hill terrain that is identical to what I live on... Jurupa Oak... I intend on gathering some acorns from it. 13k years old

Only thing games are really any good for to me jambalaya, gumbo or sauce piquante Something where you can cook them down and pull the meat.
Young pullets and stags cook up pretty well in the oven. Lay some bacon or ham over them and they are even better. I use 5 month old culls or younger...

We have got a little over 5inches of rain so far and it started this morning. Gonna make for a mess had some real bad wind was afraid my pens were gonna blow over but they didn't all was well besides soaked feed.

And the more I look at the lighter hulsey the more I'm thinking stag as well developing some red on its shoulders.

Buddy I'm confused as to which ones you think are stags and which ones are pullets. Either I'm an idiot or you posted some pics with some jumbled up descriptions.
Supposed to storm here tonight. Replaced 26 pen roofs, a few stakes and staked all my pens back down.

lol, I thought it was me! I think when the pics were first posted there was the pic of the two possible young stags and then a pic of two older pullets, one darker and one lighter. The text was broken in between them, if I remember correctly.

That lighter one just had a stance like a stag, but time will tell sure enough.

You hookers I'm just talking about the biddies lol. Here so no confusion as I can see where that came from...

I know man, I'm just fiddle fartn around. I went to Yosemite natl park a couple of years ago and I saw some beuatiful giants, it was then when I understood why people chain themselves up to trees. Hey man you weren't affected by any of those wildfires were you?
