Yes. Still don’t shine the beam directly on an animal though. Keep the outer ring of the beam on em. Just enough to see the eye shine.
Cats will stare right back though. No need for a red lense for a cat unless you already have one.

They usually just look at the light once and just start wandering off. You can run em down if your fast enough. Lol
