To be honest ima have to re read alot.

To me he even says you shouldn't need to in breed for 15-20 years of the same line. But when you do you can mess up real quickly with both out crossing and inbreeding make sure ya pick the best of the best without a doubt.

Now this whole section started off by roughly saying most good big main lines are hard to obtain to add fresh blood into your own blood.
 
All you really can go on is with what you got. If you get a pair of birds and breed them together how do you know whether or not they are or aren’t inbred. Surely can’t take the word of a meth head.
The only way imo would be to take two “proven” birds on both sides and breed them together. Just say they are good. Then go from there. Those books are practically obsolete given the laws. Now if you don’t follow the laws then read on. Otherwise just a bit of nostalgia. Lol
 
That lower paragraph is what I was trying to explain why NOT breed shubins way that's ass backwards but whatever breed as you wish. Lawn ornaments for all
