It’s interesting how the roosters react to the peacock when they’re on cords. Some aren’t bothered by him, some seem nervous, while others won’t tolerate him anywhere near him. He will get inches away teasing them it seems.
That stag was still loose and he had enough of the peacock I guess. Wife said the peacock took off and the stag was holding on wailing away lol

Oh man, I’m counting points as he’s coming then he turns right slightly but stays head on and of course goes behind some brush and heads back. This buck honestly wasn’t much bigger body wise than the little guy I saw yesterday

It’s a good thing I’m not a chicken. I just turned in my stand and there sits a Cooper’s hawk 10 yds away. Never saw em or heard him land. Lol

Well d*mn!!!! I just had a big shooter 8-10 pt come through on a mission! I grunted and grunted to stop him. He didn’t even care. Finally gave one look but that was it. 900 am on the dot. Glad I didn’t get a shot at that smaller buck. I got 2 days to get it done. That one had me weak in the knees!

Yeah. Helluva couple hours of hunting this morning. Saw 3 bucks. Last one was the biggest. Usually it ain’t all that exciting lol
