pretty sure I've always seen same ducks in a flock. They will land with others. I was told along time ago don't put pintail decoys unless hunting pintails cause they are aggressive to other ducks so they won't land. Don't know how true that isDo different species of ducks flock together?
I sound like a complete city boy, but we dont have ducks out here...
prolly so.ive heard they good too never tried though. We've always called them tree ducks. My friends Herbert and Audrey used to hunt them@sdm111 i was reading some hunting reports from down there and guys were shooting plenty of bluebills (scaup). I’m pretty sure 99% of those ducks we saw were all scaup.
And apparently you can shoot those whistling ducks as part of your (6) duck limit. Supposedly taste real good.
