yep... some engineer was working smarter to design and manufacture those snares. I bet it took him weeks/months to get it working perfect for all the possible conditions... Nothing is easy when you manufacture production parts.

I think people underestimate how much thought and time goes into seemingly simple products.

What the h*ll are you talking about? A snare can be made from a vine, rope or any one of a thousand materials

ok sorry buddy.. I thought you were talking about the ones you buy and have shown pictures of. Those look like relatively complex little contraptions...

Most basic bought snares are made up of 3 pieces.
1. Aircraft cable
2. Washer (bent in half)
3. Annealed nuts
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist.
