Need to straighten the doors a little and make latch for them.

It was a triple, but I ran out of plywood so I made it a double... the near pen is double wide for now.

I kind of got lazy on the roof too.. I should have cut them into 4' lengths and had them running perpendicular to the length of the coop (like all my other coops)... but I just laid the 2x 12' long ways...

It looks good to me, come over and build me some new ones just like yours, you would get a chance to see what it looks like living on earth (it looks as though you live on the moon) lol

I cannot think of anything more enjoyable than building coops. I truly love it and would be glad to build , if time/money/life permitted it...

I only use 3 tools; my trusty old handsaw, tape measure and 20V Dewalt impact driver (impact makes all the difference).

Big deal. I only use a small pocket knife and I twist in the deck screws with my fingernail.

Could get interesting Friday. A low is supposed to develop in the gulf and with the cold weather supposed to drag colder temps down and give us alot of precipitation may be snow and could be alot .

Breaking in my boy and his bird. We pulled stag off roost and boy has to sit in chair while watching a movie he likes which is why he is smiling. Boy and bird need to calm down so tomorrow when boy is in kindergarten they will be able operate in class of 18 kids without it erupting into a fiasco. Both calmed enough that stag would walk around on boy's lap for a good ten minutes. Different than how I learned where my first efforts involved being cherry picked a man-fighter.

Bird got down and went into the bathroom. Flew on counter and to my ears made a scuffling sound. Kids popped heads out of bathroom and asked why he fight mirror.

He’s ok thankfully. Still not sure why he was having issues but he’s good for now.
