Thinking about getting a beater sedan to keep miles off my truck and keep it from getting more damage just drive it when I need to or it snows looking at an SHO toortis or a GTP or SS Monte Carlo those are what tickle my fancy.

It would be the 2nd gen Yamaha v6 I'd be looking into those v8s are garbage. I have a compression tester and a leak down tester even better for finding internal leakage problems.

On the way to hunting this morning even the main roads were this bad. I've been in the blind since 6:05, and it's still coming down.

I found an 06 SS Malibu salvage title car decent shape black scuffs on front bumper and lip and dent in driver side fender with right at 160k he wanted 2200 I've got him down to 1500 but trying for 1200.

Oh no not the pontiac lol. I think they went disposible whenever they came out with the small Grand am. Around 1990. I think they came standard with a miss and exhaust manifold leak

Gtp is the supercharged 3.8 only thing I know that really goes wrong with those are the intake manifold gaskets being ate up by the gm coolant and of course dash issues with gauges and lights. I could deal with all that and what scares me about the SHO is the dif pins grenading other than that a lot have made 250k on the engines if kept up, but parts are expensive and harder to get, always wanted one though.

Ok perfect so it's settled I'm not a Ford fan but the SHO can't be denied. If it checks out when you pick it up I'd drive straight to my store of choice and get a few hundred dollars worth of cooling parts minus radiator and heater core change it all and be set. Maybe even a little redline water wetter for good measure
