Thinking out loud... I am still trying to come up with economical pens for stags. Keep in mind most will be miniatures. What about a large round pen, about 6.5' in diameter, divided into 4 pens. Each side of the pen would be about 40" long. It would be like cutting a pie into quarters. We have dogs and coyotes, so I need something that is fairly sturdy. Thoughts?
Those octagon kennels that flypen have look coyote proof (assuming they're dog proof too). Only has one door tho.

I never thought about dividing a round pen into quarters... not bad idea... gives them a big front but each will have different sunlight amounts hitting them. with one or two being completely shaded all day (facing North)

Like this Lmljsl. I cut them in half for grow out pens but left this one intact for a good flypen.

This is Havok's radio eating and getting some quality time in the flypen before I ship him out to go open a can of whoop ass on them East coast pigeons of his. :D

There you go man, she's the only full blooded grey hen on the yard.
I would suggest a big sheet of wire mesh, tie it at both ends and you get a cylinder shape, from there you can make the divisions with wood, although I don't know how economical it is to buy a wire mesh sheet. I get mine from the jobsite lol. Good for dogs and coyotes.
She looks different yet. Yours is a nice looking Grey, but I am used to some red/salmon coloring in the breast.

I was thinking of conduit to make the circles and then welded wire and wood or metal dividers.

That looks nice, but I don't have a cheap source for those panels and I need smaller mesh to keep out mink and coons as well as be dog proof.

Do you know if anyone I'm the construction business? Do you have a truck? If yes to both, I suggest asking if there's any material that will be trashed to see if maybe you can go pick some up. There's always extra or unused material at every jobsite and for guys like us, most of the time it's a real goldmine. Best day to do this is on a Saturday when all the stuck up General Contractor guys are home sucking *ss.

Yeah those kennels look nice, but can be pricey around here. You are right on the shade. Would that be bad in the summer?

Lol, yes to the truck, but I do not see that heavy mesh around here. Is it used for concrete?

Also I'm pretty sure that red salmon color comes from crossing a grey over red and vise verse. Like the ones I was posting are Hatch over Grey.
