I had a penny hatch hen lay a few eggs but nothing consistent. Temps were below zero when I got the first one. It was already cracked by the time I found it. A few pullets loose are laying their first eggs too.

How is he a throwback to the Typewriters? I don't see any Typewriter characteristics in him.
