Yep, not bad. I used to raise White Utility King Pigeons. They are big pigeons and easy targets for the hawks, if you let them fly. If I remember correctly, they are about a pound and a half to two pounds, maybe a little more. Not my pic, but from the web.

Yeah it’s pretty expensive to cut the pouch of a grown man. Lot of pain meds required afterward which also help drive up the cost.

ya I like them. But people tend to not view them that way, but thats what they are... aquatic insects...

crabs too much work like them though. Give me an oyster or soft shell crab poboy I'll be happy. Shrimp good too now crawfish is my favorite.

It was pretty dark as I remember. They are harvested just about the time they leave the nest, 3-4 weeks I think.
