Rain/snow wind 50-60 mph tomorrow. Some are laying some ain’t. Too early to be hatching birds around here anyway. I don’t want them too high station.

Yep... but didnt want to take away from mama... I moved some coops around to try to give them better coverage and impede hawks path. but Now I know I need full coverage...Didn’t cross your mind to maybe lock them up?
So true, but I enjoy seeing the next round of little ones each spring.I don’t worry. They’ll lay when they’re ready. I ain’t running a factory farm so it don’t matter to me. Once they all start it’s a full time job just collecting them all.
