Now some of the pretty "flower games", I have only seen in pictures, on the internet, in in the hands of someone that wants variety in their yard. For me "wheaton" is a big deal. Greys not really flowery as only one allele difference makes those. Makes IDing battle crosses easy.

You need to move out the flood plain so do not keep loosing all your stock and having to reboot every few years. That current pattern you have is not doing much in the way of thinking.

I had to ponder a moment on that. I seldom advise anyone in this thread on how to keep games, rather indicate what I do, what I know, and logic behind it. Then you get panties in a bunch or in some other way intimidated and make comments to the effect of "that is not what I do or would do" without providing much beyond a sassy remark followed by fluff or pictures.

You know your stuff, I think, but it adapted to your local situation. That is the general pattern for most.

I have a prescribed burn and brood stock to manage so figure yourself out by the time I get back.

Last time I lost stock was 1995 little more than a few yrs lol. Matter of factly I still have the broodfowl that parented the original broodfowl that people on here have homeslice.
