I have to camp out tonight and kill this piece of crap that's killing my tie cord birds, so far it's killed 6. I thought it was a owl but now I'm thinking it's a possum. Pulling their heads off and eating a little of the breast, the 6th one was just killed and left at the end of it's cord.

Well I was thinking owl but the last one still has it's head and they have to cross a electric fence.

I still haven’t seen a bird killed by an owl so I don’t have any experience with them, that I know of anyway. Raccoons and hawks I’ve seen do that though.

I have 6 wires on my fences and I’ve watched some of the smaller cats I have running around slink through it without touching a wire. I was amazed. I’ve witnessed it knock the sh*t out of two foxes but haven’t seen or know of a raccoon trying. I’m sure they have though.

@flypen, doing anything special during your camp out? I have done it a few times.

I have a fox hanging around as usual. I took a poke at him the other night about 11 pm with the 12 gauge and 3 inch T shot. No bang flop but I haven’t seen, heard or smelled him since. We shall see.
