I heard everything going crazy last night about 11 o'clock, so I took off with a flashlight and a shotgun to see what the problem was and seen a owl in between my 4x4 pens and a hatch cock in one pen ready to fight. He flew up in the closest tree and by the time he figured out it was time to leave, he flew out in my direction. A 3" magnum turkey load at 30 yards will remove a lot of feathers, but no owl.

The amount of owls I heard down there at sdm111’s this past fall was ridiculous. I’ve got of a fox/hawk problem here.
