your welcome.. just a suggestion. They look good though.. feathers are nice and they have the traits of a roundhead.

I might also recommend adding gamebird mix to diet... looks like you are using regular scratch?
i did add gamebird mix. i hang their food in a container but they tend to pick out what they want to eat and through the rest on the floor. Im using 18% protein food at the moment mixed with 13% protein i dont know if thats good enough or not.

And if you can watch how much you feed em feel your birds as often as you can I have gotten lazy here and there when I should have been feeling/checking them more. I'm human we all make mistakes but I myself I know I can do better and choose to.
Like a buddy told me you can't judges birds that's less than absolute 100% health. Other than that putting birds on cords or rotating pens on fresh grass seems to do wonders all around in general.

Hello im new to gamefowl breeding but i recently got a roundhead wanted to know what type of roundhead do i have since i did some research and saw there is boston and lacy. and if its even pure. I want to get yalls opinions on wether it looks like a good game chicken at all, im new to this and would like feedback and advice

does he always stand like that? Also his hackles look a little dark and it looks like the hen has green legs and the cock has green bleeding through and I don't think I've ever seen a brown hen they've always been Wheaton. I don't know the other families but imo they are not good representations of the lacy roundhead

I don’t know anything about roundheads. Are their feathers white underneath when you flip the cape like a whitehackle? The bird pictured looks like they might be white underneath. Might just be me.

Quick update:
I'm going crazy....that's it lol

Also my Mentor tells me Mr.Gustavo at Guess Farm in Oklahoma has the juice right now in our region. He bought some stock from him to breed this year. Yall ever heard of him or the farm? I peeped their Facebook page and his farm and fowl look legit.
