Man when I was a kid (ah dang guess I'm old lol) it wasn't nothing for me and friends 16 or so years old to go hunting by our selves walking down the road full camo and 12 gauges except one had a colt 16ga wish it was mine and my black lab right on side. Cops just pass guess we'd get called on these days

It's not the answer but can be used as a temporary solution. We all know we are just waiting for the next shooting to happen. These things don't just stop. Let's protect the kids while we sort out the deeper issues.

Adding more regulation, law enforcement, rules etc is never a temporary solution. It becomes the new norm and the sheeple just go along with it.

I see what you're saying but what's the alternative? I'm aware that the slope is slippery. Ok let's just sit back and pray our daughters, sons, brothers, sisters aren't the next victim? There has to be a price we pay as a society for our current failures, we're not getting off so easily on such an issue.

And when we are being surveilled constantly(like it's not happening alread), and our rights are constantly being infringed upon, maybe then we will start holding people/companies/groups/govts accountable for what they have done to this once great society and country. Maybe then we purge the normalization of degeneracy from our culture. I can go on all day.

New Orleans has almost like neighborhood schools it's mostly charter schools prolly 20 total most have and been had armed police they even have their own force. It's ordinary to see 4 or 5 at each school so it's nothing new like it seems. The school board voted to place armed police in the schools in my parish and I'm a ok with that.

I went to high school fill of gangbamgers and drugs dealers.
4 armed officers on a campus that spread at least 20 acres. You know what those officers did? They weeded out all the bad apples so the rest of us could go to school and learn without having to worry that Pedro and Dante were going to shoot it out at lunch.

Just want more security that's it. No new regs and ordinances, nothing from the Fed govt either. These are things the community should decide on and not wait till it gets so bad the Feds have to interfere.
