Actually it’s best to run a cycle of freezing and microwaving too. I use a combination of mothball flakes (they work better) cedar chips, and tobacco leaves. Sevin dust would work even better but I’d rather not handle that every day. Main thing is to ziploc capes, saddles and bird skins separately. I’ve had to throw away an absolute ton of pheasant tails. They were given to me by a family friend that hunts. Werent dried properly. Too far gone to save most by the time they got to me.Freezing them will prevent beetles too.
