I was just joking. I have MS blacks brown/reds whatever you want to call them. I had 3 separate families I blended together. One was real damn mean. I haven’t added anything other than breeding them together. I do get hatch colored chicks out of some hens. No mixes just some all black some straight hatch (chipmunk) chicks.

I have a lot of different double spurred hens but that doesn’t mean a thing unless you just like them I guess.

Yea that's all I let the mommas free range and if there spurred they can defend their selves a little better

This is a 2 yr old hen. She’s just a 3 way cross and doesn’t look like much. (She’s molting, lack of tail)
She has never been in a pen at all. Hatched on the yard and I’ve used her as a broody. She has fought off two hawks on the ground. One nailed her but she got up swinging and fought the hawk off after almost a minute or two. The other hawk was a quick deal. The hawk missed because of her cat like reflexes and it was just a quick shuffle and the hawk gave up. No spurs.
