I've only seen one little barn owl when we first moved here.

I only hear a GHO every now and then around here. Hear screech owls every night though. They’re everywhere. I’ve got a Cooper’s hawk hanging around too but so far he hasn’t even made an attempt that I’ve seen. Too many roosters still running loose.

They were already working chickens in trees here even before barn in place. Training did not start until barn went up and they are easier to deal with when birds mostly penned.

You guys want to see a Opossum?

I have seen some hawks but they haven't came to the ground but once an that little pumpkin hen took care of it.

Working on Opossum. Wife not home so going bring it into house for measures. Kids want to know if it is a boy or a girl. They tougher to sex without looking at pouch.

All summer I have had two adult GHO's and two, possibly three juveniles. Just the other night a could here two pairs battling it out in woods east of house. Already they are getting ready to bread again. Will have eggs by first week of January I bet. Bastards.
