You know there’s like 85% of the cow that’s more appetizing than the damn toungue. Ugh. I can take a vitamin and get the zinc and iron.

I've never had that, but have had beef heart, it's pretty good. I feed my dog heart or liver all the time. Looks like Beef Tongue is expensive though.
The price has doubled just in the last few years. It used to be cheap. Now I only but it a every now and then. I much prefer Ribeyes for the same price.
 
Boil a few hours.

Take out and peel.

Slice up the tounge part in smaller pieces...I leave that back fatty part in bigger chunks.

Put back in pot with a little of the water from boiling it plus more garlic, onions, bell pepper and tomatoes. Add a little cumin and salt.

Final product coming in an hour or so.
