They are flat out desired by general public. Not popular with farmer owing to how much damage they do cause. They are not popular with many stream anglers although not everyone aggrees on degree of impact the otters have.

I read an article saying that some were spotted in Oakland, CA, which was unheard of.

I have only seen one otter in missouri on the current river. do you know if there are many in the farr sw of missouri?
