Blue versus White

It is time I start using barrels as nest sites for broody hens. Four hens and four barrels will be setup today. I can go all blue or all white. Does anyone have handle on the merits of color of the barrels.

White would probably look less than prestine after a little time where blue would hide more

Blue it shall be. I can get those in food grade versus the white used for paint related use.
