That's funny, because when I went to get replacements locally for some that were lost during shipping (8 of 11 died ) the BRs were the cheapest while the Wyandottes were twice as much. Can you believe they wanted $6 per Wyandotte?! Regardless my plan was always to get BRs. That sad, I feel the chicken math coming on; but I'll have to wait until next spring. I'd like to get a bit of a mix next time.

I got mine from a breeder not from a hatchery... Did you get them from a hatchery?

d probably have to wait until they're crowing to know for sure

Unfortunately I did get them from a hatchery. If I were to start over, I'd get heritage birds from a breeder. When I started I didn't know the difference. Live & learn!

awww yeahthey are sooo cute my rescue bunnies mother & daughter were free ranging with my older hens, they were at the glass kitchen doors looking for carrots, as my 16 week old SLW looking on from the back round HA
