Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Catdaddyfro- you have some beauties in there- I bet you will get a great roo! I have noticed that the ones that seem to be pullets have very little in the way of markings also- I only have one that appears to be a pullet that has a great deal of black.

We are still snowed in, but the neighbor think he can get our driveway plowed out, and we are going to go out in another hour or so and start shoveling the cars out....it is still lightly snowing. How are the rest of you doing?

Oh Joletabey, you are getting the nasty weather we had. I thought it would never end. And more is coming tonight so expect more in about 3 days.

I took some pics of the babies and please excuse the messy rug. They are pooping so much I did it in the mud/laundry room! I was treating them to the mealworms and glad I did it in there. Little savages, but I loved every moment!

Hey, I forgot to tell ya .... I found another, "friendly," breed. I have 2 Light Sussex. Well, I started with 4, but 2 died a couple days after I got them. Anyway, they are just about the same as the Delawares. Mine are 3 weeks old, and come right up to me, every time I go to feed them. YAY, another friendly breed! LOL

Joletabey, I hope your weather gets better! Were in the 40s right now, so were doing pretty good here in Oklahoma

We are going to get more weather Christmas Eve, from what I understand- UGH!!!! It's very overcast here, nothing will melt, and we only cleared a small area before we came in for a break- huffing and puffing. Age. Bleah! The road is still not plowed out, no one knows when it will be plowed, and the neighbor has not shown up yet. . . . . .well, we can sit around and eat and play with the chicks!
Thanks, Delgirl-keep thinking nice warm thoughts!!! Send me some OK weather!
Rustyswoman-those little darlings.....I loved that stage! Those are great pics!

Joletabey! I'm wishing it your way, praying it your way, and trying to push it your way!! I like the warm weather, but jeez... A little snow wouldnt hurt on Christmas Eve
