There are shows in NC that are close enough for me to go to- and I have BIG plans to take a Del or two next fall- I went this past fall to Morganton and there wasn't a single Del there, so maybe some of Ike's kids can spread SDWD a little farther around here!

One of these junior roos is looking good for the shows this year, there's a four point and a six, but their combs are straight and their color and size are looking good. If nothing else I can certainly cause a furtherence of SDWD. I have a couple of pullets and hens that are also likely... so I may just go ahead and give them and some of the Sizzles a go.

Wow these suckers lay like maniacs and I'm loving the size of the eggs from the older hens.

SDWD!!!!!! We SHOULD get the best one's we have out there- even if they aren't perfect! I would take a 6 pointer if it was straight and the body type was correct and the markings good.
Why not? If we all stay home and wait for perfect, we might be too old to get out there. . . well, in my case, anyway. . .

I too hope that I can show some next year. Stockton show is the biggist in Ca. And I will be taking some Javas next year, so I was hoping to be able to take some Dels too. I guess it all depends on when I find them. Can't take something I don't have.
