Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Thanks Cyn.....you guys are ALL great and without your help especially I wouldn't have what I have today.

I'm glad you feel good about the home the Del girls went to...funny how we get so attached. I just took 2 Excedrin Migraine tablets....i think the weather is messing with my head too. I'm planning on "indulging" a bit tonight if Jenn and the boys don't decide we need to eat out.

I'm a little thin on grown birds myself right now. I have the 6 girls in with Pepper. 9 girls in the BBS rock pen, the 4 silkie girls (for broodies) and a handful of Columbian Rocks in the grow up pen.

Gardengranny is coming at 5pm to pick up the 12 BBS rocks I hatched for her and a local guy is "supposed" to be coming to get my surplus CR roos (7 of them)

Gotta go pack and I dread it.....I hate packing for long trips. My arm is still sore from a vaccination for Hep A the Dr made me take yesterday....uuugghhh, oh well, at least I'm getting a paycheck now

A couple new Delawares in Missouri today ! Two out (and playing kick ball), and quite a few pips. These are from Claudia's. The other bator hasn't gotten started yet.

Yay Claudia Babies! They are adorable!!!!!! I forgot to mention in my post earlier that I moved SawsAll and my older Java's into the main chicken coop today. Tomorrow I'll be cleaning out the outdoor brooder for the week old babies as the allergies are really starting to hit my husband who is just getting over the cold he gifted me with.

In the little guinea pig cage I can no longer keep them clean for more than 4 to 5 hours.

Laney

Laney, you get well! What are you doing out working when you are sick? Where are the male slaves?
You are probably right about the silkies- but Scott has managed to hold it to four. . . .nah, who am I kidding?

Scott, good luck on this trip - I will look for your thread, it will be like all of us taking a vacation with you-
except the visitee country has a chance to survive since it's vicarious.

Cyn- you done good with those girls, and think of Ike's beatific smile and beautiful comb! And I'll put my vote at the weather causing you the head ache- if Scott had one, and I had a slight one, and we are all in the same weather pattern right now, it's probably got to do with the barometric pressure. Or we just all secretly really want to drink tonight!

Kathy- that is the cutest picture of Claudia's chickies- I honestly have never seen one hatch, so these wonderful pictures are an education as well a joy! Thank you!

Kathy: Those are some very cute looking chicks and to think I'll have chicklens from the same family in a couple of weeks. Maybe I have been working in hospice for too long but the little yellow chick on the left looks like a little old man with a very hairy back.......

Patrick, I hear ya.... I can see that little ol man appearance!

I hope you have a great hatch, too! Will be watching for updates!

I have 4 Dels from Claudia's, and 1 from Cyn. More pips in both bators.

Too funny, Cyn, that you say that just now .... one Del totally out, went back in, headfirst!

Oh Beth, it is just so cool watching a hatch!

Laney, Hope SawsAll and the Javas like their new home! I had intended on getting some moves made here today, as well ..... but, well, it just didn't happen! Tomorrow I hope!

OMG Kathy I am so so sorry...that smell has got to be the worst thing in this world. I somehow missed one egg in the bottom of my egg basket and kept putting fresh eggs in the basket...I was standing in the kitchen cooking and the one on the bottom that had been overlooked exploded and me being the nitwit that I am, hit the floor and yelled what was that husband...find it and kill it! Ack...it was all over the the place, the eggs and me....Vicks Vapor Rub took the odor away from my nose. I could not stand it when I kept smelling it the next day so I put the Vick's under my nose.

*walk by Scott and pops him gently but sharply in the back of the head* What do you mean dirty diapers got to you? You helped create the things making the mess MAN UP.... I hope Jennifer told you to put on your Superman pull-ups and get er done. hehehehehe Do not feel bad...I came home from grocery shopping the first time I had left my son with the husband...I walk in to find my husband with a clothes pin on his nose (literally) holding my naked infant over the sink and hosing him off with the sprayer on the sink. I yelled at him asking him WTH he was doing with the baby...his reply "What? You expect me to put my hand in that?"

OMG someone come help me pack...PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE! I don't wanna pack anymore, I don't wanna go through anything else and I don't wanna clean another crook or cranny.
