Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Listen I'm so old.
I remember a refridgerator had two settings on and off.
I remember calling the refridgerator the ice box.
I remember leaving milk bottles out for the milkman.

I'm so old the candles on my birthday cake raised the earths temp 3 degrees.
I'm so old my birth certificate is expired and was written in Roman Numerals
I'm so old if I acted my age I'd be dead.
I'm so old I remember when rainbows only came in black and white.
I'm so old I remember the burger King when he was a prince.
I'm so old I get junk mail from coffin salesmen.
I'm so old my wife has the life insurance people on speed dial.

TIM!!!!!!!!!!!! You are way younger than you think!!!!

Germaine, you DID promise pictures. . . . .

Delaware tidbit for the day - for those of you who remember I despaired of Luke ever becoming a sweet roo......I sat down in the run, expecting my usual cluster of lap sitting, snuggling girls, and got a rooster in my lap instead. A rooster who actually snuggled down and let me stroke his back.

I was so sure you'd get babies. The fertility on both breeds has been SO good right now, and I'm overrun with both. Shipping is just so hard on them...

I'm sorry.

Remember when roller skates had keys?

Yep and when a cold coke in a glass bottle cost a big ole 10 cents...5 of which was the bottle deposit.

We started the run yesterday and hope to have it completed this week. One question, should I keep the chickens in the coop for a few days for them to learn that is their home or is it ok to let them out during the day?

Cute coop, Countrychickengirl- I really like that shade of red! Did you paint your little eggs sign and the rooster? I have heard you need to keep them in the new coop for a couple of days so they know it's "home". If you have a run, maybe less, as they can't scatter too far????

I would keep them inside for a couple of days so they know that is their new home. It will make getting them to go back there much easier.

That is a nice cute coop. I love the inside roosts...well done.
