I'm going to try to get down there next Monday. If I don't drop these baby mottled Japs to Carly in Rome soon , I just may keep them- so tiny and cute

Ahh- yeah, that's why I'm waiting til Monday. Less kids to travel with!

Don't need any eggs right now, but might in the fall if I don't get any dellie girls. I usually have better luck when someone else hatches- so hope there are some girls in there!​

I guess I will have to call my son in to help on this mission. Airborne Ranger should be able to rescue a chicken and bring her home to me.

Scott- those are precious little cuties. There is nothing like a Del baby- hope you got all pullets on those sweeties!

Kathy....I have NOTHING incubating now (thank goodness...TOO hot)

I am hoping to hatch off some Columbian Rock chicks in Sept or Oct before the weather gets too cool/wet here.

My BRs are still a ways off from laying....born 5/22, so won't be laying til late Oct I guess.

Not planning to hatch off any more Dels this year

If I can get my Splash Rock roo (Patch) to get interested in the girls, I would like to raise some blue chicks from him. Splash rock over black rock hens

Having these Barred Rocks growing has given me a real appreciation for the Rocks. I LOVE their shape and size.

About incubating .... Now don't you know you should keep that expensive bator filled and running at all times, to get your money out of it!
